About Us
Contract Security Services has a proud seventeen-year history of providing a professional, reliable and cost-effective security service to the public and private sector alike.
We were established in January 1990, as a private limited company by our managing director Mr S Puvitharan.
We lead the market with our cash collection and money processing services, serving mainly – although not exclusively – public authorities and bodies. In 2003 we also introduced a cash consolidation service, which has proved highly successful with clients who have various premises.
Cash and Valuables in Transit has always been at the forefront of our business, but we also supply fully vetted, trained and uniformed security guards to a multitude of sites, including council establishments, industrial sites and commercial premises.
All our operations are controlled from our 24-hour modern communication centre in West London.
The company complies with the following British Standards (BS).
BS7499:2007 "Code of Practice for Static Site Guarding and Mobile Patrol Services."
BS7872:2002 "Code of Practice for Manned Security Services - Cash in Transit Services (Collection & Delivery)"
BS 7858:2006 "Code of Practice for Security Screening of individuals employed in a security environment"
BS EN ISO 9001:2000 applicable to all above BS standards
